Bicycle Safety and Patrol

Students learning to cycle safely around obstacles

This dynamic and specialised course, which we are currently offering only at Crown Perth, provides security officers and other employees who need to use bikes in public and private spaces.

 Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

* select and set up a mountain bike   
   appropriate to your needs
* demonstrate basic cycling skills
* safely ride on roads
* safely ride on uneven surfaces, including off-road environments
* brake and control your bike in emergencies
* remove, repair, and re-fit bicycle tyres
* remove, replace, fit, and adjust bicycle accessories.

When you successfully complete this course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. (This is a non-accredited course.)

Bicycle Safety and Patrol Training

Duration: 1 day, 7.00 am to 5 pm.

Fee: $330 (GST included), payable before the course commences

Selection criteria: To be accepted into this course, you must be 18 years of age or over.

Location: Crown College, 200 Planet Street Welshpool, WA 6107.

Trainers: Licensed, qualified and experienced trainers working in the security industry.
